Law and records mechanisms
Addendum sections A1 to A15, plus the certification register, built as records rather than as rules on a page: the majority date and the notice before it, the FERPA machinery, verified parental consent, the procedural deadlines a school is held to, retention with holds and destruction, the learner populations the command never names, the evidence behind an assessment result, the educator credential register with the awarding bodies behind it, and A9, the accessibility register beyond conformance: the conformance report with the mobile assistive-technology testing behind it, a row for every document the platform generates, the published statement with the route somebody answers, the remediation log, language access with who translated and who reviewed each notice, and caption accuracy with a correction path. Beside them sit two registers of their own: the vocational certification register, where every professional and trade certification a person holds is recorded with the certifier behind it, the verification that was made and a registry entry a third party can check by reference without being handed a name; and A10, data ownership, residency and exit — who owns an institution's records, what part this platform holds, where the data is kept, the published register of the parties it passes through with a real objection window on every change, what comes back on exit with the manifest that says so, and the certificate that records a deletion authorized by a second person; and A11, the model register, where the models the command leaves out — the support records, the academic structure, the identifiers and the merges that resolve a duplicate, the decisions, the consents, the retention classes and the access grants — are each named, held by something a person can point at, and read back for the learner, the authority, the window and the boundary rule that keep them relational. Beside them sits A12, delegation of authority and change control, where the acts that grant rights are mapped to the office answerable for each, the record it lands on and the evidence it has to carry, the second person the acts that grant rights need is named with what they read, a change to the command is proposed, reviewed by somebody other than its author and recorded with what happens to every requirement it touches, and the two lists a buyer reads sit beside the traceability matrix: what may be said publicly about accreditation, verification and coverage, and what this platform does not do at all. Beside them sits A13, service levels, recovery and fail-safe specifics, where the availability committed to per domain is recorded with what measures it and every period that owes a measurement since it took effect, the recovery point and the recovery time are published with the backup cadence that meets the first of them, the drills against those targets keep what they achieved and what they found, the maintenance windows keep the degraded mode stated in advance beside what actually happened and the institutions that were told, the scheduled integrity runs keep every failure with the incident it was raised as, and every version-pinned delivery keeps the licence check made at the moment it was handed out. Beside them sits A14, testing standards and evidence rules, where the test institutions that hold synthetic data only are swept for real records and a run is refused in one that is contaminated, that nobody has swept or that has been withdrawn, each acceptance test states the four things it must attach — the record read, the actor, the outcome and the artefact — and every run keeps what it actually attached, the coverage thresholds are stated per surface with the tool and version behind them and every figure kept marked below where it is below, the regression gate records each release on the five checks as they read at the moment it was decided, the named assistive-technology method keeps the browsers, devices and screen readers it covers, independent security testing is recorded on its cadence with every finding and the date it is owed by, and each route's performance budget is held under change control with every measurement taken against it. Beside them sits A15, delivery governance, where every deliverable the command requires is held as data with the owner answerable for it, the date it is meant to be met by and what done means for it; the stage a deliverable stands at is read from the claims behind it rather than typed on the record, each claim carrying the record read, the actor, the outcome and the artefact, moving one step at a time, with a passing acceptance test behind tested and beyond and a second person behind approved and live; every risk is held with what it blocks and the approval it waits on, so a go is refused while a blocking risk is open; every phase is decided in writing, naming who decided, when, on what evidence and what was held back; and every surface that describes delivery to somebody outside the build is held with the standing rule it has to restate and the claims on it that were found to carry no evidence. What the server refuses is shown here in its own words.
A1 to A15 — what you can do here
The mechanisms that name you. Each act below is recorded, dated and readable back.
- · A2 — File a request to inspect, review or amend a record, and read what the institution produced and decided.
- · A2 — Withhold directory information, category by category or as a whole class.
- · A3 — Refuse further collection of a child's data where you are the guardian on the consent.
- · A5 — Read what was destroyed under a retention rule, with the certificate that recorded it.
- · A1 — Where the learner has reached the age of majority, the student reads their own record and names their own representatives.
- · A6 — Read what was determined about you, the plan written for you, the enrolment that admitted you, and the shape your enrolment is carried under.
- · A7 — Read the sittings you sat and the attempts made, with the accommodation recorded against you and every correction made to a score.
- · A8 — Read the credentials your institution holds for you, what each still owes before it stands, and every reading made against it before an assignment.
- · A9 — Read what the institution publishes about accessibility, report a barrier you meet through the route on the statement, and read the caption errors you have reported.
- · A12 — Read what the institution has delegated to which office, what it may and may not say publicly about accreditation and verification, and what this platform does not do at all.
- · A14 — Read how the platform tests and what it keeps as proof: the test institutions that hold synthetic data only, the acceptance tests and the evidence each attaches, the coverage stated for the records that matter, the gate each release was decided on, the method assistive technology is tested under, and independent security testing on its cadence.
- · A15 — Read every phase decision with who decided it, on what evidence, and what was held back at it, and every surface that describes delivery to somebody outside the build, with the claims on it found to carry no evidence.
