Module 1 · Guardian verification

Guardian Verification

A guardianship verification names one adult and one minor, and says exactly what it unlocks. It never widens to another child, cannot edit a grade or an education record, and ends when it expires, is withdrawn or revoked.

Guardianship verification

A verification names one adult and one learner, and unlocks only the scopes it lists. It never widens to another child and cannot edit a grade or an education record.

No verification is on file. A guardianship case is submitted by the guardian themselves, with the evidence an administrator reviews.

What a verification can unlock

Each scope is granted deliberately and recorded on the case. A scope that is not on the case is not available.
